Phool Nagar City

Phool Nagar is a small city of Kasur District, Province Punjab, Pakistan. Old Name of Phool Nagar is Bhai Pheru. The town is named after Rana Phool Muhammad Khan, a former politician and Minister of this area. Its surrounding areas are Gulzar Jageer, Bonga Balochan, Chah Fateh Wala and Balloki. It located at a distance of 22 Km in Northeast of its Tehsil headquarter Pattoki. Its latitude is 31.20454° or 31° 12′ 16″ north, while its longitude is 73.94037° or 73° 56′ 25″ east.

It is located along the National Highway (N-5), approximately 58 kilometers from Lahore. The city’s connectivity to major urban centers such as Lahore, Kasur, and Pattoki makes it an ideal location for industries and businesses. The Ravi River flows nearby, supporting agricultural activities and providing water for irrigation.

He started his political career from Markaz council and remained chairman of Markaz council and union council during 1979 to 1983. Born into a politically influential family in Kasur, he followed in the footsteps of his father, Rana Phool Muhammad Khan, a former Punjab minister. Rana Iqbal has also served as the Acting Governor of Punjab multiple times during his tenure as Speaker.

2. Rana Muhammad Hayat Khan

Rana Muhammad Hayat Khan is a seasoned Pakistani politician affiliated with the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N). Born on December 24, 1950, he hails from Phool Nagar, Tehsil Pattoki, District Kasur. He is in politics since nineties, he returned to the National Assembly in 2013, winning from Constituency NA-142 (Kasur-V). 3. Rana Sikandar Hayat

Rana Sikandar Hayat is a Pakistani politician currently serving as the Provincial Minister for School Education and Higher Education in Punjab. Born on February 18, 1987, in Lahore, he is the son of Rana Muhammad Hayat Khan, a former Member of the National Assembly. Rana Sikandar Hayat’s political career began with his election as Chairman of the District Council Kasur in 2015. In the 2024 general elections, he was elected to the Provincial Assembly of Punjab from Constituency PP-183 (Kasur-IX) as a member of the Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz). On March 6, 2024, he was appointed as the Provincial Minister for School Education and later assigned the additional portfolio3 of Higher Education in September 2024.

3. Rana Muhammad Ishaq Khan

Rana Muhammad Ishaq Khan is a famous Pakistani politician affiliated with the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N). Born on October 5, 1957, in Kasur, Punjab, he began his political journey as Mayor of Kasur in 1997. Despite an unsuccessful bid for the National Assembly in 2002, he secured a seat in 2008 from Constituency NA-141 (Kasur-IV) and was re-elected in 2013, defeating Muhammad Asif Nakai.
